Over the past few months, I’ve been building out my own membership platform called Zone. It's membership platform where you can unlock exclusive perks and directly support my work. It’s similar to Patreon or YouTube memberships, but less third parties in between. That means your support goes further, and I can give you more value in return: more content, more access, and features that are often restricted elsewhere. I don’t use Patreon or YouTube memberships because they take a big slice of what you give. Patreon takes around 8–12% upfront, and YouTube takes 30% (not even counting extra fees, for example through Apple). With my own platform, as much of your support as possible goes directly where it’s supposed to. To keep making content, I need a stable income so I can pay my bills (and yes, I kinda need to eat). Right now, I still need a full-time job to make a living. My goal is to focus full-time on creating content for you. The biggest thing your support buys me is time. Videos like mine take a lot of editing—anywhere from 2 days to 1 week depending on the subject and length. Your support gives me the time and space to make better videos more consistently. It also helps me invest in better audio and editing gear, which saves time and improves quality.
